2 Witaparene (Christine) Minarapa – “Black Ann”

3 Henipapa (Jane) Te Hokaanga Minarapa

4 Sarah Ann Clark

It has been written in the Tides of Time – the Stanaway family tree book that at some stage between 1852 and 1856 John James travels back to England and marries again and has two sons, then leaves and returns to the Kaipara. This wife would be between Henipapa and Sarah.

From what I have uncovered (or not uncovered) we have John on a number of occasions mentioned still being in New Zealand during that period. I am uncertain that he never returned to England at all.
