Frances Katherine Rowlands was born on ________ 1893 at __________(Birth Certificate number 1893/2066), the fifth child and forth daughter to Phoebe and Donald Rowlands.

Not much is known about her childhood but we can assume it was much the same as her siblings and other children at that time.

The first record we have of Frances is in 1912 at the age of 19 she married Matthew Hogan (Marriage Certificate number 1912/951) at __________.

Katherine and Matthew have two children – Jean Thelma (1914) and Laura Gwendoline (1916).

The only record we have currently found is from the New Zealand Herald date 31 May 1935 – Separation by mutual agreement or by order of the Court was the ground on which decrees nisi were granted in; Matthew Hogan against  Francis Katherine Hogan.

We have no record of her death (there is no record of her death in the BMD records under Rowlands or Hogan – we could assume she either remarried or moved overseas).
