Rose Cecilia Stanaway was born in 1883 the tenth child of Henry and Rose Stanaway (Birth Certificate number 1883/1190) in Helensville.

We do not have any details of her early years other than we can assume that it is much the same has her siblings and other children of that time in the Helensville area.

At 2am on 25 August 1894 Rose passed away aged just 11 (Death Certificate Number 1894/3942).

She is buried in the same plot as will her parents and sisters in the Helensville Cemetery Block 1 Row B17 Plot 2.
